I wish there was more to the drawing than just a floating head. But it's a lovely portrait. I like the expression in this, especially through her eyes. It has a very soft feel to it, though the text disrupts that slightly. I would have just written the name in charcoal(assuming that's what you used.)

Yeah, I know, I shouldn't always draw only the head, but I think drawing bodies is so boring... And I actually had the name writting with coal first, but then I removed it because it looked so messy >_<
By the way, the person on the pic is actually a guy, he's pretty feminine though...

hah.. He is very feminine. :p

And bodies may not be as interesting as the face, but it completes the image, grounds it, etc. :nod: And it's not always so boring, you'd be surprised what shading can bring alive. :P

That is truly remarkable...I do not know who Pata is, but I would have sworn this was a rendering of a Greek woman. The shading is excellent...but alas, the floating head syndrome is a little distracting.
